Death Note: L Change The World

Alternative Title: The Last 23 Days of L
Genre: Mystery, Thriller
Release: January 2008
Japan Casts: Bokuzo Masana, Erika Toda,
Ken’ichi Matsuyama , Kiyotaka Nanbara ,
Masanobu Takashima , Mayuko Fukuda, Megumi,
Renji Ishibashi, Sei Hiraizumi, Shingo Tsurumi ,
Shunji Fujimura, Yuta Kanai

Story:
Tells the story about the last 23 days
of L. In his final case, a group of
bioterrorist is aiming to wipe out the
"less useful" population in order to save the
environment. [weird right? o_O] And the only hope
they have is a young boy that survived the attack
from a small village in Thailand, and the daughter
of a scientist who developed the antidote.

In this movie, I think the director wanted to
show the "human side" of L, and the passage of the
'torch' to the younger generation. [even though,
L looks like he is 23... >_>]
So it is quite different from the first 2 Death
Note movies. ^^
Still,
I enjoyed it. Seeing L bonding with the children
does bring another side of the story,
that I think is also important.
And not watching the 2nd [second] Death Note movie
is not going to make a difference.
I am still on the search for a working site, that
has the second movie. ^_^v

Death Note: Movie 1

DEATH NOTE 1
Alternate Title: デスノート / Desu Nōto
Release: July 2006
Japan Casts:Asaka Seto, Ikuji Nakamura,
Matsuyama Kenichi, Tatsuya Fujiwara

Story:
Light Yagami is a normal college student,
who hates the crime and corruption
we face in this world.
One day,
he discovers the "Death Note" lying on
the ground. With the Death Note,
if a person's name is written down
while having a picture of the person
in mind, they will die. If the cause of
death is not written within the next
minutes, the person will die of a
heart attack.
Soon the number of deaths of criminals
are one the rise, and the International
Police Organization and a mysterious
detective called "L", are to inspect
this situation.
L concludes that Kira (Killer: name given
by the public) can kill people without laying
a finger on them.
Light realizes that L will be his
greatest nemesis, and a race to prove
mental superiority between the two begins.

This movie didn't catch my attention at first,
because I REALLY hate scary and bloody movies.
But this one isn't scary at all (trust me).
It is more of an investigation/mind thriller.
It is really interesting from the start,
and I am still hungry to watch the 2nd and 3rd movie.
