Full House 2

Today is a great day because? I'm going to talk about FULL HOUSE 2!!!!!!! :D :D :D
I haven't talked about the first Full House Drama, so I'll mention it here as an introduction. Full House (the first one) actually came out in 2004 and has a total of 16 episodes. The only actor I remember from this drama is the awesome Bi (Rain) who's also an awesome and sexy singer, who also has his own music company. Although the last thing I've heard of him is that he's doing his military duties.

Anyways :P, the first Full House is about a small writer named Han Ji Eun (the girl in Bi's arms) who got swindled from all of her money and her house. Stranded in China she manages to borrow money from Lee Young Jae (Bi), to return to South Korea. She tries to get everything back (including her house) by signing into a marriage contract with the person who ended up buying her house. They have difficulties at first but they soon become accustomed to rely on each other as business partners and as lovers. ^^ Which I now move on to Full House 2.

Full House 2, also known as 풀하우스TAKE2 ,or Full House Take 2 and features the very hot No Min Woo who was also in the drama My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and Pasta. Though you can tell he lost some weight for this role.
There is also Park Ki Woong (very hot), Hwang Jung Eum (someone didn't tell her that her perm makes her look like an old lady. Her hair on the cover is not what it actually looks like in the drama. It looks much worse.), and Yoo Seol Ah (the mean girl that no one likes).
Dramawiki says Full House 2 has 16 episodes and that it's broken down into two, but from my count there is 32 episodes so far. And so far the story doesn't actually follow from the first drama Full House, so you don't need to see the first one before this one.
This drama is about a man, Lee Tae Ik (played by No Min Woo) who is part of a boy band with Won Kang Hwi (played by Park Ki Woong) who is working in order to buy his house back. He's your basic kdrama asshole who is stuborn and only wants to do this his way but is actually nice when people aren't looking.

Then comes Jang Man Ok with her old lady hair, who works in her grandfather's martial arts studio. Somehow she becomes involved with Lee Tae Ik, and becomes the groups fashion consultant/designer. Conveniently her grandfather is out of town this whole time, so she fools him to believe that she is perfectly fine and still doing her 'duties' at the studio.

But to make things more annoyingly complicated, Jin Se Ryung (played by Yoo Seol Ah) comes into the picture. She used to be in a relationship with Lee Tae Ik, but he found her out sucking face with Won Kang Hwi. It was fake but nonetheless convincing enough to end their relationship.  It's a mystery as to why she came back, but now everyone has to deal with her. >:P Oh and they are all living in the same house.

Arang and The Magistrate

So I haven't finished watching Heartstrings >.<. Sometimes I find myself looking for other good dramas, knowing that I already have a good one to watch. Why I do this? I don't know... But by doing so, I found out about Arang and the Magistrate.

One lonely dark night....
in my bed....
I was too tired to go to sleep.

So I turn on my cellphone, open the Crunchyroll APP, and start searching if they have any good dramas to watch.

Luckily, I was sick so I had all the time in the world to do absolutely nothing...except cough, sneeze, and swallow lots of mucus..etc. So I guess I am doing something, it's just not productive. But anyways, that's the story of my findings of this drama.

Title: Arang and the magistrate or (아랑사또전)
Genre: supernatural, historical, comedy, romance
Episodes: 20 (and 1 special)
Release Date: 8 August 2012

With the awesome Shin Min Ah who appeared as the main lead role in My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho, which I have written about earlier. I think she's a good actress so far. And then who can forget about Lee Jun Ki?!!! I haven't kept track of kpop recently, so I'm not sure if he's made any new albums. Last time I saw him making an album, he was kinda considered a bit "old" O___O for that type of Hallyu popularity. Of course I totally disagree.

So before I get even more away from the main topic, let me get to the point right?! Lee Jun Ki plays the role of the magistrate.

Word of the Day: Sattou (magistrate)
The story is this:
Set during the Chosun period, Arang is a ghost. She doesn't remember how she died or who she was. So she goes about trying to get the attention of each magistrate in her town, in order to find out more about herself, but she ends up getting the reputation of the magistrate-killing ghost in the human world. She doesn't do it on purpose, they just don't have the balls to actually see a ghost. So then once Eun Oh (Lee Jun Ki) is made magistrate, we find out he has the ability to see and speak to ghosts. Eun Oh also wants to know what happened to his mother. Where did she go? He and Arang get together and try to figure out what happened to her as well as see if he can find anything about her mother. In the meantime, Eun Oh starts falling in love with her, and other characters are believed to be connected to this whole situation.

Don't worry, this is not one of those suspense/detective stories. It does require a bit of detective skills, but that is not the main focus. Recently, I've been talking to a girl in my class who also likes dramas. She recommended me to watch Iljimae (since Lee Jun Ki is also in it). And I recommended her to watch God of Study since the actor playing the role of the Jade Emperor in Arang and The Magistrate also plays a role in this God of Study drama.

And then she was like, "have you watched Coffee Prince ?" (which I have also written about earlier), and I was all, "yea of course!!". And then told her how one of the guys in Coffee Prince resembles another actor who is in the Pasta drama, and how now he's in a new drama called Full House Take 2. (No Min Woo who I just am in such a celebrity crush for a while)

We kept talking about all their connections from one drama to the next based on the actors we liked. I guess it's one of those topics I like to talk about so much that I don't get tired of it. I mean, wouldn't you like to talk about hot guys?! (or girls) So don't worry. I've mention just a few dramas that I still haven't talked about but let's keep that to another post no?!

My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho

For those of you who don't know what a Gumiho is, it's a nine tailed fox who supposedly eats peoples livers. There are many different versions for this story in Korean myths and legends, so if I happen to find any type of information, I will let you know. :)

SUMMARY:
Cha Dae Woong(Lee Seung Gi) is a cowardly and extremely immature man who accidentally set free a nine-tail fox (Shin Min Ah) who was imprisoned for 500 years. The fox began to take the form of a beautiful woman who follows the man who set her free around, causing misunderstandings that she is his girlfriend. Although the man enjoys the attention and envy that people around him is giving, he is also always in extreme fear that the Gumiho may want to feed on his liver to become human. But when both of them falls for each other as time goes by, the Gumiho’s enemies appears causing an unexpected twist in their lives.

Main Cast
Lee Seung Ki as Cha Dae Woong (also in Brilliant Legacy or Shinning Inheritance)Shin Min Ah as Gu Mi Ho
Sung Dong Il as Jung Doo Hong
Hyo Min  as Jung Seon Nyun (T-ara member)
I greatly enjoy watching this drama, and I was even more excited to find out that an amazingly hot guy is in it. xD Plus a singer from the group T-ara is also part of the main cast, and not just a side character.
Another surprise that got to me was seeing familiar faces that I have seen in previous dramas. :) It's always nice to have that "OMG I KNOW THAT PERSON" thought. SInce I rarely get to see the celebrities over here, I go skippy-happy whenever I do see one. It's not a bad thing, I'm just excited. :P
