God , I am so lucky to stumble on this drama!

Well, let me say: at first, i thought it would be plain and

ordinary, but it got my attention right away. And to see

the lovely Alex Chu in it, *sigh, i almost fainted. (exaggeration)

Title: Pasta/파스타

Release: 4 January 2010 (It finishes airing until 9 March 2010,

so it's still on Tv as of now. o^^o)

Summary: Basically, Seo Yoo Kyung wants to become an

elite chef at La Sfera restaurant, but her dreams get harder

to get to once Choi Hyun Wook becomes the new top chef.

His skills at the culinary arts are incredible and to die for,

but his leader skills are a bit scary. As a chef who studied in

Italy, will his skills be known in Korea? And what about

poor Seo Yoo Kyung :(? Hu? ever think about that?

Babo: Miracle of Giving Fool

Summary: Ji-ho is a promising pianist, who has been studying and playing piano abroad for years. But one night she had a stage fright and never recovers. In despair, Ji-ho comes back home and meets her childhood friend Sung-ryong. Sung-ryong is the towns' fool and no one expects much from him, but Sang soo (his best friend) will say otherwise. 

A beautiful movie about a mans' innocent way to life, Babo: Miracle of Giving Fool made me cry. TT_TT

Why did I like it? First, no one died of cancer....and it was a beautiful love between a man and his family and his childhood friend. And, it takes some time away from my busy schedule to sit down and watch a good movie.

That, and I am still in search for watching another drama for the moment.

Great Concert

An update on my life:


went to Utada Hikaru concert and,
IT WAS GREAT!
it was at The House of Blues in Chicago City.
the room was a bit small too, but it was sold out!
it was all standing,
so now i deal with back pain. ><


nonetheless, it was great and she sounds great
live.


now, with first 2 weeks of 2nd semester,
I have 2 tests coming up, so I really have to study. ><
I hope I don't fail math class.

Now that college is keeping me busy (here and there) with homework, I've found awesome ways to avoid it. xD Gosh, I'm so lazy....and a procrastinator. >< But, who cares? As long as the work is done, and turned in, and I get A or B....I'm good. So besides reading Hot Gimmick, and finally finishing up with the drama Kiina, I decided to watch You're Beautiful. The guys seemed hot....and I saw many people liking it, so why not?

Join a famous music group and pretend to be her brother until he gets back. The problem? This is a boys' group. How can she keep her secret to the rest of the band members, and will she be able to fulfill her brothers' dreams?


  At first, I didn't want to see this drama because I figured: korean drama = someone getting cancer or girl liking the jerk guy leaving the nicer guy to the curb. Ok, so it is pretty much predictable after episode....7?, but it's interesting to watch. It's entertaining! I love kpop, so watching a drama about a 'kpop' group with a gender-mix is a dream come true. Although there are things that I don't agree with, but nonetheless I still watched it. What the heck? I wanted to know the ending. I mean, it would suck to watch 10 episodes and all of a sudden quit watching it!
  Oh yea! The main girl in the drama...a lot of times she can be very innocent which makes me go "CMON! CAN'T YOU SEE HE LIKES YOU!?!?!?!?!?!", .... but that's part of the fun of watching a drama, right? xD
